The estate of the family De Montille proposes here a wine of Burgundy appellation Meursault of the vintage 2012 of a rare quality.
Composition and terroir:
This Burgundy wine comes from the vines of Château de Puligny-Montrachet located on two climates on limestone soil. Traditional vinification and one-year-old raising in wood, then breeding in stainless steel vats to keep freshness and tension in the wine for 4 to 6 months for this white wine .
Grape variety:
Chardonnay for this white wine .
Visual aspect :
A white wine with a beautiful golden sparkling robe.
Olfactory characteristics:
On the nose, this Meursault reveals a complex bouquet of aromas of yellow fruits, spices, white flowers and very fine woods.
Taste attributes:
On the palate, this Burgundy wine is opulent, dense, unctuous. It is the perfect expression of a vintage that was capricious: a vintage of a high quality where the hail unfortunately drastically reduced yields. A Meursault therefore worthy of this appellation, all in suavity and complexity, with a nice mineral length to finish.
