The Château Chasse Spleen was classified Grand Cru Exceptionnel in 1932 for the wines of regions of Bordeaux , in the appellation Moulis-en-Médoc . The Château respects the wine-growing tradition with hand-made grapes and produces rich, powerful and well-structured wines
Composition and terroir:
Château Chasse-Spleen represents 50 to 60% of the production and is the result of a majority blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives it such a remarkable medicinal character. Moulis wines in Médoc are endowed with a very beautiful aromatic power, a generous fruity and a gourmand and suave palate. The bouquet is expressive on roasted notes and ripe red fruits. The tannins are melted and silky. These wines of Bordeaux express themselves perfectly after 5 to 10 years.
