On an area of nearly 1500 hectares, the vineyard operated by the Mouton Cadet brand - Baron Philippe de Rotschild is composed of grape varieties of Black Merlot , White Muscadelle, White Sémillon , Sauvignon Blanc , Black Cabernet-Franc and Black Cabernet-Sauvignon .
These Bordeaux vines, originating from a terroir of clay, limestone, silt and marl benefit from a temperate oceanic climate.
The Médoc rouge Réserve is a powerful and structured wine with a very good potential for keeping.

This Médoc has an intense red garnet color.
Olfactory characteristics:
The nose of this Bordeaux is complex and combines notes of fresh fruit and flowers. It then opens on warmer scents of blackcurrant and fine spices.
Taste attributes:
The attack, suave and fruity, gradually reveals a perfectly controlled tannic power. The mouth is round and wonderfully velvety. The final of this Mouton Cadet , faithful to the Médoc , is very long.
