This vintage of the 2016 vintage should comfort all the disappointed Beaujolais
Composition and terroir:
In Saint-Vérand-le-Vissoux, cradle of the family, a large piece of a single piece, with a beautiful south-west exposure. Unlike the mostly clay-limestone soil of the South Beaujolais region, the soil of the Domaine du Vissoux is granitic.
The vineyard is spread over 2.7 hectares of red Fleurie , with a southwest exposure. The vines are 35 years old. The cultivation is reasoned and the harvesting is carried out manually at full maturity.
Grape variety:
100% Gamay for this Fleurie
Visual aspect :
This red wine from domaine Vissoux has a robust, carmine-like color with purple highlights .
Olfactory characteristics:
Enough intense and fine. The smell of this Fleurie makes you feel a very floral bouquet with spicy scents.
Taste attributes:
The mouth of this Beaujolais is ample and generous, with intense, lively, "sap" fruitiness, dominant red fruits and notes slightly vanilla, persistence at the end of the mouth.
It is a wine that is like the domaine Vissoux, generous and cheerful at the same time!
