The General conditions of sale are available automatically on our website at the bottom of each page of sale and are subjected to the user when he orders. Before any order confirmation, the customer agrees to take note as a whole and to subscribe in order to finalize the order.
Therefore, the user acknowledges acceptance without reservation all the issues presented; in exchange of what "Best French Wines" also undertakes to comply with these commitments under the general conditions of sale.
No order may be an exception to this acceptance, so the user could not ask for a cancellation of his order outside the limits set by the item "Right of withdrawal and return product".
« Best French Wines » can change these terms of sale without notice. The customer agrees to consult and accept the terms and conditions before ordering.
3. PROTECTION OF MINORS AND ALCOHOL
According to the article L. 3342-1 from the French Code of Public Health prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors under eighteen (18) years, then he confirms his order, the customer is committed to being more than eighteen (18) at the date of the order, or the minimum age required by his country for alcohol consumption.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health, consume with moderation.
4. products price
Unless otherwise stated « Best French Wines » makes prices appear expressed in euros, before tax and all taxes included (include the value added tax of 19.6% and French rights), excluding the cost of transportation.
« Best French Wines » reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, the prices displayed on an order after validation are firm and final.
5. SHEET PRODUCT OVERVIEW
In order to help the customer during his purchases, detailed presentation cards are offered to him or her. Any full or partial reproduction is prohibited under intellectual property.
The photos presented on the site are not contractual.
The vintage of the wines offered are subject to change depending on availability.
6. order
According to the article L. 3342-1 from the French Code of Public Health, anyone who is or appears to be under the age of eighteen (18) years old is not allowed to order on the website.

« Best French Wines » will not be held liable in case of unavailability of an ordered product. However, we are committed to notify the user as soon as possible to propose for an exchange for an equivalent product, or a refund within seven (7) days from the date on which the customer has been contacted. "Best French Wines" cannot be considered liable if this period is exceeded for reasons beyond its’ control. In case of dispute of payment for a previous order, “Best French Wines" reserves the right to refuse and cancel any order.
Pursuant to Law No. 80336 of 1 May 1980 on the retention of title, the web site « Best French Wines » the internet site « Best French Wines » retains ownership of the goods sold until full payment of the order by the customer. The customer is responsible for these products as soon as they are delivered. The transfer of ownership means then the customers acceptance of risk transfer.
Pursuant to provisions of the Civil Code on the conclusion of contracts online, the contract will be concluded when you will click on the button which allows you to confirm your order, after having seen the detail of your order (especially its total price) and having the possibility to correct the potential errors.
The contracts on our website (the relative data to your order, and the general selling conditions prevailing on the date of your order) are archived for a period of 10 years. You can have access to the archived contracts upon request by email to contact@cavesdechampagne or by posted mail.
The language proposed to conclude the contract is French.
7. order payment
All orders are payable upon confirmation of the order by the customer. In order to proceed the payment of his or her order on the Internet website « Best French Wines », the customer can pay by credit card (Blue Card, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard), or payment at reception.
The transaction takes place immediately once the customer's order is paid on the website of our partner bank "Best French Wines".
For a credit card payment, the customer certifies that he is absolutely capable and has authority to use the credit card for the payment and that he has sufficient funds in the bank account linked to the card used for payment.
The customer can also pay his order with Paypal. Paypal allows you to pay online without sharing financial information with sellers in the transaction.
To set the order, the customer must provide a name, credit card number, expiry date and the corresponding cipher text.
« Les Caves de Champagne » may need to ensure the validity of payments and therefore request some supporting documents from the client, for which the customer agrees to submit within forty-eight (48) hours. In case of non receipt of these documents in a timely manner or receiving non-conforming parts, the Internet "Best French Wines" website reserves the right to cancel the orders.
All the banking information that the customer has to communicate to « Best French Wines » are not stored nor visible on the Internet network. Also the information is neither stored nor visible on the servers of the Internet site « Best French Wines ». Considering these factors, the customer is required to enter the credit card information for each order.
The customer will receive his bill on paper inside the package.
8. delivery
The shipment of an order will be done only after its’ registration, its’ full payment, its’ validation by our services and its’ preparation. The shipping time is usually about 10 days after the payment of the order.
The order is shipped to the delivery address given by the customer.
The postman will check the age of the customer at passport by delivery. If tthe customer is under the legal age for buying alcool, the order won't be delivered.
If you make a mistake making the delivery impossible by the carrier, the return postage will be paid by the customer.
If the shipment is impossible because of a mistake, the order will be returned to the « Best French Wines » warehouse. The customer can ask for the return, at his own expense, after payment thereof or cancel the order and ask for a refund, excluding shipping costs. The client must be careful when it is delivered to check the condition of the package. Similarly, the customer must ensure compliance of the products delivered.
The client has to notify in writing the details, dated, with a signature, all the deterioration, non-compliance or lack of delivery. Claims without these writings cannot be processed by "Best French Wines”
The products are packed in special boxes for 1, 6 or 12 bottles.
9. shipment costs
These prices are specified in the order. « Best French Wines » can always change them without notice. However, the shipment costs of a validated order are considered as definitive.
A carriage on an order does not preclude possible shipping costs if the order is returned.
10. RIght of Withdrawal and right of return
As a customer, you have a period of 7 days to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. In the case of an order for products, the time is counted from the receipt of goods. If the time expires on a Saturday, a Sunday or a holiday, it is extended until the next business day. You do not have to provide a reason to exercise your right of withdrawal. You will not suffer any penalty.

Return costs are solely your responsibility
Returned products must be in the exact state of receipt (unopened bottles, corks and labels intact).
The right of withdrawal gives right to a refund of amounts paid in the order as soon as possible and no later than 30 days counted from the date on which you exercised that right.
Reimbursement will be made by bank transfer (or other payment method of your choice).
11. legal garantee
Considering Article 1641 of the Civil Code, the website « Best French Wines » is required to guarantee against hidden defects of the thing sold which render it unfit for the use for which it was intended, or which decrease this use that the buyer would not have acquired these goods, or would have paid a lower price if he had known the defects.
Under this law, the customer has six months to report in writing (email or post) a hidden defect to the site "Best French Wines“ which will then contact the customer to arrange the repatriation by a carrier of the defective products for supposed expertise. At the end of the expertise if there are defects found by the Internet "Best French Wines" site, it will be proposed to the customer to repay the full amount of revenue of the good whose defect is found. Only the products that are not consumed or opened will be accepted and submitted to expertise.
12. LEGISLATION

These general conditions of sale are subject to the application of the French law.
In case of dispute the client is asked to find an amicable settlement by contacting the customer service of "Best French Wines."
Otherwise, all disputes arising from the execution of an order or interpretation of terms and conditions of sale will be under the responsibility of the commercial courts.
