Composition and terroir:

The Moët et Chandon house in Epernay has been in existence since 1743 and has gained its nobility over the years and has long been world-renowned. It has the largest domain of Champagne (1150 ha of rich limestone soil).
The wine of Chambagne Brut Impérial was created in honor of Napoleon Bonaparte who visited the estate on several occasions and awarded the very honorary legion of honor to Jean-Rémy Moët. The main characteristic of this Champagne wine is its constant quality from one year to the next, thanks to the great richness of its grapes: 30% to 40% Pinot Noir , 30% to 40% Pinot meunier and 20 to 30% of Chardonnay .
