As a link between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the vineyard of Provence joins, over 200 km, the Alpilles to the Massif de l'Estérel. Cradled by cicadas and full of sun, the wines of Provence assert their character of wines of the South: aromatic power, luminous dress. They are generous and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or during the meal. If the reputation of the rosés of Provence is no longer to be made, one forgets that Provence also produces red wines and white wines, often admirable. The terroir of Provence is perfectly suited to the cultivation of the vineyard: poor dry soils which transmit to the vines a pure minerality, an exceptional sunshine of 3000 hours per year and a constant wind that preserves the vines of the diseases. The vineyards of Provence have given birth to several Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée: Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, Coteaux Varois in Provence, Bandol, Cassis, Bellet, Palette, Coteaux de Pierrevert.
Rosé wines from Provence
Historic land of rosé wines, Provence is the first French vineyard of rosés AOC. It alone accounts for more than 30% of the national production of rosé wines and nearly 6% of the production of rosés in the world. The most popular of the wines of Provence is born of a delicate elaboration: the skin of the red grapes is left in contact with the juice for a short time. It is during this stage, which lasts from 2 to 20 hours, that the robe and the aromas of Rosé de Provence are forged. Rosé wines are increasingly appreciated by consumers, who are looking for clear, dry rosés: the specialty of Provence. The rosé wines are elaborated by assembly: each vine is vinified separately then the winemaker assembles them to obtain the best aromatic balance. The rosé wines of Provence are light and fruity and develop a beautiful aromatic power in the mouth.

White wines from Provence
The appellations Bandol and Cassis are famous for their white wines, but one finds very beautiful bottles in all the appellations of Provence. The whites of Provence present a shiny dress with green reflections. They release a complex set of aromas, between fennel and citrus fruits. In the mouth, their freshness and character are reflected in fish and seafood. The winemakers use grape varieties originating in Italy for white winemaking such as Rolle (or Vermentino) and white Ugni, but also Semillon or Bourboulenc White (or Doillon).
