The castle La Tour Carnet dates from the 12th century and its name comes from the squire Carnet which receives it in heritage of the lord Jean de Foix in reward of its bravery. In 1855 it is Classified 4th vintage in the famous classification. Located in Saint- Laurent-Médoc in Gironde, Tour Carnet is in AOC haut medoc. The soils are composed of a base of calcareous clay covered with a thick layer of günzienne gravels, which makes a terroir of exceptional quality. In 1999, Bernard Magrez, owner of Pape Clément, becomes owner and realizes d Important renovations as much the vine, the vat and the cellar.
