Founded in 1834, by Antoine Jaboulet, the House is located in northern Rhone valley, whose soil shapes wonderful wines: Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Péray, Saint-Joseph and Condrieu.


Transmitted from father to son for more than two centuries, in 2006 Paul Jaboulet Aîné is finally purchasedby the Family Frey, experienced vine growers, owners of 100 hectares in Champagne and of Château de la Lagune in Bordeaux. 


Caroline Frey,young and confirmed oenologist watches over the 100 hectares of vines mainly made up of Syrah. Concerned with preserving grounds and soil quality, Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné is in conversion to organic farming since 2013 and has already received in 2012certification ISO 14 001 for its low environmental impact.
