The Cote de Beaune is honored !
The domain produces both white wines and red wines, field from some of the most prestigious wines of Burgundy.
Since 1996, Jean-François Rapet runs the family domain based in Saint-Romain, which covers 12.5 hectares.
It has a wide range of appellations of the Côte de Beaune: Aligoté, Burgundy hills, Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses Ladoix, Meursault, Volnay and Pommard.
The vineyard work is done in accordance with the methods of pest management and harvesting can be manual or mechanical. The vinification and aging of different vintages are true to the Burgundian tradition. The white wines are aged in oak to provide the material and complexity. The red wines from pinot noir ferments in vats for 8 to 10 days and are then placed in barrels for 10 months.
