Since 1829, Maison Bollinger has been producing large champagne with a powerful, refined and complex style.
Joseph Bollinger had been engaged in 1829 by Emmanuel de Villermont, wine-grower in Ay, for the launching of the champagne design activity by the latter. In 1837, Joseph Bollinger married the daughter of Emmanuel de Villermont before inheriting the vineyard a little later.
Today it is always the descendants of the family who run this beautiful house and watch to safeguard its exceptional level of quality.
It is the pinot noir grape that gives the soul of these wines of Champagne of the Bollinger house, through a beautiful vinosity easily recognizable. In addition, the house offers magnificent vintage vintage wines, the best wines of which benefit from a winemaking under a wooden giant park of old barrels.
Bollinger has the specificity of granting its wines a time of aging more than twice the rules of the appellation, which gives this elegance dear to the brand and which has conquered the Crown of England since 1884 and who made it An official supplier to the Court.
