Castle Fieuzal is a winery located in Léognan, classified Grand Cru in the classification of Graves wines.
In the sixteenth century, we find the first traces of the field, the first plots belonging to Jean and François Gardères. In the seventeenth century, after passing into the hands of the Bordeaux Dabadie family, it returned to the family Fieuzal.
At the end of the nineteenth century, the Ricard family, owner of famous wines such as Domaine de Chevalier and Malartic-Brion, acquired the castle and runs until 1973, allowing it to reach the quality and reputation.
On the death of Odette Ricard in 1973, the domain was sold to George Negrevergne, a pharmacist Bordeaux, doubling his surface, from 15 to 30 hectares and under the direction of his son. He also performs the renovation of the cellars, permanently installing Castle Fieuzal among the great.
